Stable Skills Horse Camp: An Intro to HorsesYouth summer campsThis 12-hour introductory camp is perfect for boys and girls ages 10–14 who are curious about farm life, especially horses, and eager to learn by doing. Campers will get hands-on experience with horses, donkeys, and our mini-pony while exploring three key areas each day: horse care, horse education, and meaningful life skills. Along the way, campers will build confidence and grow through hands-on activities that highlight life lessons in boundaries, trust, and healthy relationships. They’ll also get to brush and groom the horses, practice haltering and leading, and even have the chance to express their creativity through horse painting! Campers will receive a daily snack and a Hope Reins t-shirt, and are encouraged to bring a water bottle each day. Dress in layers for changing weather, be ready to get your hands dirty, and be sure to wear boots (cowboy or mud boots work great) at all times for safety. Campers without proper footwear won’t be able to interact directly with horses. Helmets are available upon request, and assistance with footwear or scholarships may be available if needed. Parents are invited to join us on the final day where campers will be offered horseback rides and a special photo opportunity with the horses. To respect other clients on site, we ask that parents remain off-site during the rest of the camp. **Rain Date August 14th***Address: Hope Reins36097 County 5 BlvdLake City, MN 55041651-217-8510Summer 2026
