Cub Care is an extension of our preschool program that provides before and/or after preschool care for children enrolled in Lake City Community Education Preschool. Enrollment in preschool is required to participate in Cub Care. At Cub Care, we aim to provide more than just childcare by creating a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. Through a balance of play-based learning, hands-on activities, and social interaction, children are encouraged to explore, build friendships, and develop important lifelong skills. Our program focuses on supporting the whole child while partnering with families to create a positive and engaging experience each day.

Lake City Preschool provides a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment where children ages 3–5 can learn, grow, and thrive. Through meaningful, play-based experiences, we support each child’s emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development while encouraging creativity, confidence, problem-solving, and a love of learning. Our highly qualified staff is dedicated to helping every child succeed and preparing them for future school success in a caring and inclusive setting.Our curriculum is Frog Street provides a comprehensive continuum of research-based public school pre-k curriculum in English, serving the unique needs of a School District's early childhood program. This public school early childhood curriculum supports key learning domains and is aligned with state and national learning standards for school districts. Conscious Discipline (social-emotional development) and STEAM activities are integrated into the public school early childhood curriculum each day, supporting early learning outcomes for pre-k children. Lake City Preschool does not provide busing if you are in need we suggest you reach out to Hiawathaland Transit as at the parent's expense. Tiger Time offers a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Our program provides a balance of structured activities and free-choice opportunities that encourage children to explore their interests, build friendships, and have fun in a supportive setting. Students participate in a variety of enriching experiences, including creative arts, active games, hands-on projects, and group activities designed to inspire curiosity and creativity. At Tiger Time, we are committed to helping children grow in important areas such as personal responsibility, social skills, self-confidence, physical development, and health and safety awareness. We strive to create an environment where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to learn and thrive.
